There is an eagerness for everything to be different, and at the same time, everything remains the same.

For sure fear grips any known variable other than the known stable one, although the howl of other perspectives cannot be silenced completely, since it is an integral part of our nature; of our belonging to the Universe.

And if one might expect that after protest, criticism and complaint, the being would change its patterns... this is not the case in most cases, but -on the contrary- it becomes entrenched in despair and settles into continuing... much the same.

The Prayerful Call warns us of this composition of responses. Dismembered responses that in turn call for conciliation, reconsideration and... determined communion.

Capable -as humanity- to predict the threats of disasters, but incapable to change the patterns in which humans contribute to such despair.

The causes that lead us to deterioration seem to be known. But when it comes to modifying them, remedies are sought to continue with the same attitude.

Changing course does not imply denial, it does not imply sacrifice, it does not imply confrontation, and it does not imply betrayal or disloyalty. It means embracing the favourable wind... to make the journey possible, thanks to communion with the Providential.

Consciousness is stuck in its liberating purpose.

 It considers to be great the successes and the comforts achieved, the pleasures of possession, the delight of control…

But it is unable to see that, behind all these achievements, there has been a... a "something else" that is not our property; a mystery that makes us "glimpse"... what we vulgarly consider to be great, but which has its universal background.

But, in assuming the leading role, we fail to see, and we attribute the attainment of this or that to our faculties, without intuiting that these faculties have been enabled and empowered by the Creator Mystery, and to teach us that, behind achievement and triumph -and with its splendour- is the residue of decay, of slavery.

Could it be…?, could it be a providential sign for the being to learn, to discover, to overcome the prejudices of personal importance... and to enter into the concepts, ideas, projects... of universal development? That which, with the display of splendour theoretically attributed to our faculty, teaches us the splendour in which we -all of us- have to be.

In a recent astrophysical event, we were told that a spacecraft of Indian origin landed on the south pole of the moon. And it did so gently, and set the technological movement there to explore.

And, obviously, there was applause and cheers for the human components that made this journey possible.

 And "it's good". But... another view emerged, and the prime minister said: "This is not India's success. It is a success, an achievement of humanity".

And we could add another third level: "It is a permissiveness of Providence".

In this case, due to this example. But we could apply it to any situation.

To step out of personal prominent role, to become humanity and to recognise the providential stamp is... is to place oneself in Creation. It is an achievement in the evolution of consciousness.

We can be aware of our leg, our arm or our back, but we can also... become aware of the timid singing, the insinuating sound of birds... right now.

 At the same time, we can listen to the echoing sounds of vehicles coming and going...

 And, with all this, to make up... to shape the evidence... regarding the care they lend us.

And dare to climb the steps, without remaining on any one of them...; to bring them together in a single proposal: "eternal life".

There are immense mountains..., but none come close to the stars.

There are marine depths, but... without water, they would be meaningless.

Adhering to the concrete, to the reason of property, of knowledge, is to ignore oneself as a being of the Universe..., and is to remain trapped in the parcel of a residue.

The Praying Call becomes the great funnel that abducts us towards the essences of our being; towards the components of Creation.

And under this structural configuration, our doing, our being and way to be, become inevitably creative, innovative; continuous fulfilling hopes.

It makes of our consciousness an enthusiastic search in the face of any difficulty.

It does not face inconveniences as irresolvable fatalisms, but as elements to be overcome..., since there are paths, among the difficulties, that lead us to the libertarian activation of our Universe.

Recognizing the Mercy that is poured over our positions... is a balm that allows us the illusion, the belief, the enthusiasm for living...; the realisation of the permanence of the Eternal Love that courts us... and makes the breath of life possible.
