Living systems, in their interrelationship with the environment, correct, rectify, adapt... All in the sense of remaining, developing, evolving...

In the case of human living system, on the other hand, rectification is difficult; correction is almost impossible; and adaptation... is imposed. Thus, every time the presence of the species passes this one suffers in different areas… -thought, economies, knowledge, relationships-... and makes us assess that we are entering periods of disappearance, of unnecessary presence... due to the imbalances they continuously and permanently generate.

As a... "peculiarity" -in inverted commas- of humanity, when the error or the terror or the horror is present, rectification, correction, adaptation do not appear, but guilt appears.

And this makes each being feel... an improper identity, in which -whether one is guilty or blames someone else- one will have to act either as judge and punisher or as prisoner and... human waste.

The Praying Sense demands of us... what living systems do, to rectify, correct, adapt... and not to create the figure of blaming attribute, which in the end is the criterion that throughout time was created around divinities, who punished us with natural disasters, with personal mournful events, etc.

So, in depth, when looking for a feeling of guilt, and not of responsibility, correction, adjustment, adaptation, etc., what is being done in the face of guilt is setting oneself up as "truth", setting oneself up as judge, loading up oneself with prejudices, and to punish...; to punish oneself.

To such an extent –except for a few exceptions- that every being bears its corresponding guilt. And depending on the circumstances, of course, he blames himself, or he feels guilty before the divine, and he calculates that for that transgression he will be punished.

The Prayerful Sense suggests that this is not how it works.

When the being becomes a systematic, radical, prejudiced transgressor, it inevitably clashes with others, and certain misfortunes will follow. But they have not been punishments. They have been events typical of maladjustment, an inability to relate, an impossibility of communication, a lack of mutual respect.

But it was not God who punished him!

In any case, it has been the other -whoever the other is-: father, mother, uncle, grandmother, mayor..., jurists or governments, etc., who will establish guidelines and rules to... punish the transgressions or the various crimes that may be committed.

More and more... it is legislated, more and more it is ordered, more and more it is qualified. With which, it is increasingly difficult to comply... And consequently, it is easier... to acquire guilt.

The proverb, sentence or opinion said "to rectify is wise".

And so, in the tradition, the wise man was the one who was able to correct, to vary, to modify... to relate and behave in different forms and manner according to the best needs in order to serve, to serve oneself.

If the species is "sapiens", each one of the beings will be somehow wise, they will have some wisdom... in their feelings...

And with that, to be able to develop the capacity -"the capacity"- to amplify that rectification, that correction, that adaptation... to serve and be served properly, and to establish a complaisant regime in which agreements are reached that are beneficial to all, and in which everyone has to use his or her wisdom.

And to flee -consequently- from the covens of guilt... that offered us the prominent role of impersonating the divine and, thus, making us... useless to fulfil our designs.

Exclude "guilt" from our lexicon, from our attitude. And introduce what living beings -except for sapiens, with some exceptions- do, which is to correct, rectify, adapt –just to sum up, of course; there are some more things.

This prayerful work... also allows us to raise our consciousness regarding the relationship with the Creator Mystery, in a humble, available way... and thus to make us sensitive, perceptive to the goodness that Creation provides for us, and which is not usually seen because of the punishment syndrome.

We have not been created to be punished; even less to be punished by others,

Of course, the self-punishment, as usual mechanism of correction, of adaptation, of adjustment, is most frequent: "self". And it involves sacrifices, ailments...; being in a continuous state of despair.

To the extent that we dissolve guilt-punishment, that couple of an irreverent way of living, we immediately acquire the similarity with... with another sapience that knows how to appear, act, relate and coexist in order to become viable.

Without this entailing suffering, pain or misery.

May Piety welcome our humility and our sapiential instincts in order to correct, rectify, adapt and remove guilt. And thus, be vehicles of transmission, communication, of balance and solidarity.

The prayer we practice does not belong to any religion. We believe prayer can be a liberating and healing instrument. It is referenced in Creation and, without naming them, in the different Forces that animate us. Our belief that prayer is an essential element, led us to create a space dedicated exclusively to prayer: “The House of the Sound of Light” located in a farmhouse in the Basque Country, in the province of Vizcaya. There, prayer encounters and retreats are held.

“La Casa del Sonido de la Luz” ARGI DOINU ETXEA se encuentra en la localidad de Ea, Vizcaya. Un espacio abierto para los alumnos de la Escuela Neijing, los cuales pueden realizar estancias de 1 a 5 días.
